How would you describe your style and approach?
My wedding work has a photojournalistic approach with an editorial flair. Discreet and in the background, I aim to capture the candid and tender moments that could easily get lost in the action of the day. It’s these in-between, imperfect moments that have depth. I will direct when appropriate. Each couple has their own unique story to tell, and it is my job to honor that, and give something that can be cherished for decades.
What do your wedding packages cost and what do they include?
My classic wedding collections range from $3000-$7500, depending on your needs. I have a 1.5 hour minimum for elopement/smaller ceremonies, which start at $1,000. I customize my packages on a case by case basis in order to meet all of my clients’ needs, so please let me know everything in the booking form and we can work something out :)
Do we need a second photographer?
This is absolutely your choice, but for larger weddings (over 75 people) and longer weddings (over 8 hours) I recommend a second photographer as there are only so many places I can physically be at once. A second shooter allows me to deliver more of the subtle, candid moments that hide between the big events of the day. It ensures all the details, soft and loud, are captured.
What advice can you share for engagement photos?
Let’s talk about it! I’m happy to work with you to choose a location that is beautiful and shares special meaning for you both. I can also provide guidance to fit the style of your shoot once we discuss location and I get to know more about you. As a general rule, I highly recommend wearing clothing you feel confident and good in. The more comfortable you are, the more natural the images will be.
Do you shoot film?
Yes! I would love to document your day or portrait session on film. Let me know and we’ll create a custom package to include the cost of rolls and processing.
Are you available for destination weddings?
Absolutely! I’m open to traveling just about anywhere that you want to celebrate. Please include more information and we’ll create a custom travel package that includes appropriate fees and arrangements.
How many images do you deliver per session?
While this number depends on many factors associated with your wedding —including venue, number of guests, and timing —you can typically expect to receive around 75 final photographs per hour of wedding coverage. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.
How and when do we get our photos?
I deliver wedding galleries within 4-6 weeks. The turn around for portrait sessions is quicker at 2-3 weeks. Let me know if you need images sooner.
